PAX East 2010 – The Cadette Experience // X-Posted to my Official Facebook Page
Finally!
After 48 hours of editing, splicing, cutting, audio-overlaying, etc — the video for my PAX East 2010 – Cadette Experience adventure is complete. Do you have any idea how long it takes to put together a video like this? Not to mention the rendering time just to assure that the quality of the video remains on-point? Phew.
PLEASE ENJOY!
The best reaction I’ve received so far is, “It made me feel like I was there! Like an inside look at PAX.” According to my friend, Cerise, anyways. Which is so good! Because that’s exactly what I wanted you guys to experience.
I deserve a pat on the back for that one.
I really do.
Because now I can kick back, relax, enjoy the feedback on all of that hard work (hopefully), and focus on my next adventure: Competing for a spot in MAXIM’s 2010 Hometown Hotties Issue.
This is either going to be an epic win, or an epic fail.
That’s the risk I take, you see, with publicizing something this massive. Because if I somehow don’t make it through (even with all of the amazing support that I’ve been getting — thank you so much!)? Then what more can I do but either hang my head in shame, or snap fingers and say, “Darn it! I guess there’s always next year, right?”
But for now, I’m going to have to give a shoutout to a few friends who really pulled through with reposting or simply voting every day in the contest just to show their support: NoobToob, Jenna, Joe, Mavien Bliss, and even Podcast Stockton!

Briefly mentioned on the Podcast Stockton website! Thank you, guys!
How flattering is it to have the official podcasters of your own hometown supporting you 100%?!
Their blog entry mentions me briefly, while their podcaster, Rod Villagomez, actually takes a moment to shout me out in their broadcast: here!
If you’re too lazy to listen to the entire thing (my segment is towards the end), then I’ve quoted him for you.
“You can help another Stocktonian reach the national stage, but this time, for MAXIM magazine! A young lady by the name of Cheri is looking to be a MAXIM Hometown Hottie! She is attempting to represent Stockton by making it into the magazine …” “… This show is all about helping our fellow Stocktonians reach the national level!”
- Rod Villagomez, Podcast Stockton Ep.34
Thanks again so much, everyone, for showing so much support and leaving me with such positive feedback! I definitely have my fingers crossed for this because, I have to say, that competition is rough. Those chicks are smokin’ hot, right?! Don’t ask me how or why they picked me, because the answer seriously escapes me.
Please don’t forget that you can VOTE ONCE EVERY DAY.
The voting ends on April 5th at noon.
And … Yeah!
As always, thank you for reading, watching, listening, and supporting.
fingers crossed for an epic win,
XOXO Cheri XOXO
PS! Please let me know what you thought of the PAX East 2010 video! Your impressions, reactions, parts you liked, parts that made you laugh, etc — I’d really love to hear it!
